JBBI Conference

3rd Annual James B. Beam Institute Industry Conference

The 3rd annual James B. Beam Institute Industry Conference welcomes scientists, farmers, representatives and staff from local and regional distilleries, secondary industries and tourism for three days of continuing education. This bourbon-focused conference is an educational program offered by the institute at the University of Kentucky.

Collaborating with the Kentucky Distillers’ Association, we identified key industry issues to plan days of engaging topics, industry vendors and exhibits. You will learn about new industry developments and best practices.

You will enjoy interactive lunches and breaks, where you may network with vendors, colleagues, researchers and students, and view exhibits and posters. Breaks, lunches and snacks are included with your registration. Check out the press release about the conference here: https://news.ca.uky.edu/article/uk-james-b-beam-institute-offering-3rd-annual-bourbon-industry-conference-early-2022

General Conference Partner

KDA Logo

Thank you to our overall conference partner, the Kentucky Distiller's Association. The Kentucky Distillers’ Association (KDA) is the first and only non-profit trade association dedicated to protecting Kentucky’s legacy in Bourbon and sharing it with the world. Established in 1880, we bring together distillers, businesses, educators and governmental entities to advocate for our industry and ensure that Kentucky always remains the one true home of Bourbon.

Sustainability Partner

We created the conservation agriculture movement, which speaks for the land—and for the people who grow our food. As the movement’s leaders, we have three priorities: protecting agricultural land, promoting environmentally sound farming practices, and keeping farmers on the land.

AFT is the only national agricultural organization that approaches its work in this comprehensive, holistic manner. We recognize the connection between the land, forward-looking farming practices, and the farmers and ranchers who do the work. We also recognize the power of combining on-the-ground projects with objective research and effective advocacy.

Technical Session Partner

With a vision of Growing for Good, our mission is to inspire human connections. We are driven by the entrepreneurial spirit that built Beam for more than two centuries and guides Beam Suntory as a world leader in premium spirits today. Inspired by our parent company Suntory’s “Yatte Minahare!” spirit of dreaming big, our objective is to be the world’s most admired, fastest-growing premium spirits company.
