Defensive Chemical ManagementPresenter: Dr. Gary Brown, PH, CIH, RS, DAAS@ Four Roses in Lawrenceburg, 4/11, 8am-5pm

HAZWOPER First Responder Operations Level training 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) learning objectives include: knowledge of the basic hazard and risk assessment techniques; knowledge in selection and use of proper personal protective equipment provided to the first responder operational level; an understanding of basic hazardous materials terms; ability to perform basic control, containment, and/or confinement operations within the capabilities of the resources and PPE available with their unit; ability to implement basic decontamination procedures; and an understanding of the relevant standard operating and termination procedures.

Key Components of a Successful Emergency Response PlanPresenter: Tony Cole, P.E., CFPS, CFEI, SenezCo@ Beam- Clermont, 4/24, 9am-1pm

The presentation will cover identifying credible incident scenarios, key components of an ERP, training related topics, and drills. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the ERP, essential components of an ERP, and how best to implement on their respective site.

OSH Management System Development and AssessmentPresenter: Dr. Scotty Dunlap, EdD, CSP@ Beam- Clermont, 5/15, 9am-1pm

This training will provide instruction on each element of an OSH Management System as presented in ANSI Z10 and ISO 45001 and why OSH Management System auditing must be conducted. Participants should walk away knowing how to create a list of topics to be included within the scope of an OSH Management System audit, describe how an OSH Management System audit can be conducted, and identify who is most capable of conducting an OSH Management System audit.
