Glenna Joyce becomes first Beam Institute Head Distiller

The University of Kentucky James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits has named its first head distiller – Glenna Joyce. As head distiller, she will oversee all aspects of spirit production at the Institute.

Mission

The Beam Institute will lead the global advancement of the American whiskey industry through workforce education, scientific discovery, environmental sustainability, community and social responsibility.
