James B. Beam Institute Industry Conference
Registration is now closed!
The 4th Annual Conference of the James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits will take place March 13-15, 2023.
The annual conference welcomes scientists, farmers, representatives and staff from regional, national and international distilleries, secondary industries, and tourism for three days of continuing education. Now in its fourth year, this bourbon-focused conference is an educational program offered by the University of Kentucky's James B. Beam Institute for KY Spirits.
Collaborating with the Kentucky Distillers’ Association, we are identifying key industry issues to plan 3 days of engaging topics, industry vendors and exhibits. You will learn about new industry developments and best practices.
You will enjoy interactive lunches and breaks, where you may network with vendors, colleagues, researchers and students, and view exhibits and posters. Breaks, lunches and snacks are included with your registration.
Registration for the conference is now closed. Walk-up registration for individual days will be available at the conference for $225/day.
You can find a conference schedule as a PDF download . Registered conference attendees will receive a Whova conference app download link to view speaker information and start networking - even before the conference starts. In the app, you can filter by day, time and speaker and add the sessions you are most interested in to your personal schedule.
Registration is now closed! Limited numbers of walk-up registration for individual days will be available at the conference for $225/day.
The vendor expo will take place from Monday afternoon to the end of the day on Tuesday. There will be dedicated expo times for attendees to network and chat with you. If you wish to become a conference partner, you can sign up with or without adding a vendor table. Your partnership will allow us to upgrade the hospitality and provide dedicated technical or breakout sessions. You will be recognized as our partner during the event and in the conference app, Whova, which will be live 3 months before the conference.
The conference will take place from March 13-15, 2023 in the University of Kentucky Gatton Student Center, 160 Avenue of Champions, in Lexington KY. There will be ample and free parking throughout the conference days in the Cornerstone Garage between S. Upper and S. The scientific program was a great mix of talks on scientific, business, and DEI aspects! I also thought the organizers did a good job of balancing networking events within the exhibit hall.
